Megan Thee Stallion finds herself embroiled in controversy as she faces accusations of harassment and fat-shaming leveled against her by a former cameraman. In a lawsuit that has garnered attention, Emilio Garcia alleges that he was subjected to distressing experiences while working with the renowned rapper, painting a troubling picture of his time on tour with her.

According to court documents obtained by ET, Garcia recounts an incident that allegedly took place in June 2022 during a tour stop in Ibiza, Spain. He claims that while traveling with Megan, he found himself in an uncomfortable situation inside an SUV, where he was forced to witness an intimate encounter between the rapper and another woman. Feeling trapped and embarrassed, Garcia asserts that he was unable to leave the vehicle as it was in motion and they were in an unfamiliar location. He says he felt “embarrassed, mortified, and offended throughout the whole ordeal.”

The distressing incident did not end there, as Garcia alleges that Megan later confronted him about the events of the previous night, warning him not to disclose what he had witnessed.

Subsequently, Garcia claims he faced further humiliation when Megan began fat-shaming him, making derogatory comments about his appearance and eating habits. These interactions left Garcia feeling belittled and demoralized, ultimately leading him to consider resigning from his position as Megan’s cameraman.

In response to the allegations, Megan Thee Stallion’s lawyer, Alex Spiro, vehemently denied the claims, characterizing them as a ploy for financial gain. “This is an employment claim for money — with no sexual harassment claim filed and with salacious accusations to attempt to embarrass her,” Spiro stated. “We will deal with this in court.”

The situation took another turn when Garcia alleges that he was abruptly terminated from his position by Megan’s management company, ROC Nation, purportedly in retaliation for his complaints about mistreatment and unpaid wages. Feeling wronged and aggrieved, Garcia has filed a lawsuit seeking recourse for the harassment, unpaid wages, and damages he claims to have suffered.

As the legal proceedings unfold, the allegations against Megan Thee Stallion have cast a shadow over her reputation, prompting scrutiny and debate within the entertainment industry and among her fans. While the rapper has yet to publicly address the accusations, the lawsuit serves as a sobering reminder of the complexities and challenges that can arise within the realm of celebrity and fame.
