Amanda Bynes is seeking help.
A new report has emerged with an update on the 37-year-old actress’ health. According to the report, she has checked into an inpatient care facility to continue to address her struggles with mental health.
Reportedly, she checked herself into a new treatment center in Orange County in the beginning of July. She is said to have learned about this new facility via the previous treatment center she was in.
Insiders told outlets that Amanda wanted a more “therapeutic place to live” instead of staying by herself in her apartment in Los Angeles. She is also said to have felt that she needed more support than what she was being given by her outpatient treatment.
The insiders likewise said that Amanda is now receiving a higher level of care as she is in residential treatment. They also shared that she is taking part in therapy sessions and activities daily to better prepare her for life after she leaves the center.
Amanda checking into the inpatient center comes after she was placed on psychiatric hold back in March.
