Amanda Bynes is ready for the next chapter — and she is all set to do what needs to be done to regain ownership of her life.
The 35-year-old actress is speaking out after news broke that she has taken the first steps to end her conservatorship of almost a decade.
Taking to Instagram, she posted a video message for her followers as she gets ready for her upcoming court date. In her short, heartfelt message, Amanda said:
“What’s up, Instagram? Amanda Bynes here. My court date is coming up in two weeks.
I want to thank you so much for your love and support. Peace out.”
In the video she posted, Amanda is wearing black glasses and has a gold septum piercing. Her black locks go ombre into gray. This is her first social media post in a long time, and it comes after filing to terminate the conservatorship or her person and estate.
She tagged many news outlets in her post.
The hearing for Amanda’s petition is set for March 22.
