Amanda Bynes is keeping it real with fans about her health goals.
The former actress, 39, took to social media to share an update on her Ozempic journey — including her current weight and how much she hopes to lose overall.
Amanda first opened up about taking the GLP-1 medication back in June 2025, revealing her starting weight of 173 pounds. In her latest post, she shared that the process hasn’t been linear — but she’s finally seeing results she’s happy with.
“I’ve lost 20 pounds so far. I’m so excited about that, to be honest. Also, I want to lose about 50 more pounds,” she said.
“I’m 163 [pounds] now,” Amanda explained. “I actually shot up on the Ozempic pill–I shot up to 180 from 173. So I was able to lose twenty pounds from 180 and now I’m down to 163 on the Ozempic injection.”
“It’s really working for me,” she added. “And I’m trying to lose more weight just to feel skinny and cute. So I will keep taking Ozempic and I just wanted to post about it because I know that I hadn’t made a post about my progress on Ozempic since I posted about it months ago.”
If she meets her goal, Amanda’s target weight would be 113 pounds.
The former Easy A and She’s the Man star has kept a relatively low profile in recent years as she focuses on her mental health and personal well-being. Her openness about her body journey has sparked conversation around celebrity transparency and the pressures surrounding appearance in Hollywood.
While some stars have chosen to keep their use of weight-loss medications private, Amanda’s decision to share her experience reflects her ongoing effort to connect with fans authentically.
Her honesty — even when the journey isn’t perfectly linear — is exactly why people continue to root for her.
