Amanda Bynes is showing off some fresh ink—and sharing the touching meaning behind it.
The 39-year-old She’s the Man star took to TikTok on Sunday, May 18, to reveal a new tattoo and a subtle hair transformation. In the video, Amanda looked upbeat as she explained the sweet reason behind her new body art.
“My best friend Dylan and I have been best friends for 10 years. And to mark our best friend anniversary, we got matching Roman numeral Xs for the number 10. I got it on my finger. Dylan got it on her rib cage. So excited about that,” Amanda said in the clip.
The tattoo, a simple Roman numeral “X,” is a permanent symbol of the decade-long friendship between Amanda and Dylan, and fans loved the low-key, heartfelt tribute.
Amanda’s video also gave followers a look at her latest hair update—her bangs are gone.
“Oh my god, I can’t believe it,” she said about growing them out.
