Andrew Garfield is setting the record straight.
The 38-year-old Academy Award-nominated actor recently stated in an interview that he was going to be taking a break from acting — but his comments have led to speculations that he was retiring!
Well, he is now making it clear that those speculations were just that – speculations. And in no way is any of it true.
During his appearance on The View on Thursday (April 28), Andrew addressed his comments being blown way out of proportion. He said:
“I don’t know where that came from. I’m just having a holiday. I just said I’m going to rest. I’m going to have a holiday. And I think people make a story out of nothing.”
Andrew went on to make it crystal clear that he is in no way leaving the career he loves anytime soon:
“I’ve been loving the work I’ve been doing but also, you know, I need to take a month or so … I’m not retiring!”
