Ariel Winter is set to make her big return to scripted television!
The Modern Family actress will be replacing Demi Lovato in NBC’s upcoming comedy series Hungry.
Demi was initially going to star in the comedy series, but they have had to take a step back due to scheduling issues. They and their manager Scooter Braun still remain as executive producers of the show.
Hungry will follow a group of friends who all belong to a food issues group as they help one another with love, success, and that perfect thing in the fridge that will make everything better. The show will also star Valerie Bertinelli, Ryan McPartlin, Alex Brightman, Ashley D. Kelley, and Gabriel Iglesias.
On the producing team with Demi and Scooter are Suzanne Martin (Will & Grace, Hot In Cleveland), Sean Hayes and Todd Milliner, as well as Scott Manson and James Shin.
Hungry will be directed by Friends and Will & Grace director James Burrows.
