The Backstreet Boys’ holiday special will no longer be airing.
A Very Backstreet Holiday was pulled by ABC in the wake of the sexual battery allegations against Nick Carter. The special was originally scheduled to air on Wednesday (December 14) at 8PM.
The network has removed it from the programming schedule.
A Very Backstreet Holiday was filmed earlier this month. It was set to feature the Backstreet Boys performing songs from their new holiday album, as well as holiday classics. Special guests would have been Seth Rogen, Rob Riggle, Ron Funches, Nikki Glaser, Atsuko Okatsuka, and Meghan Traitor.
The cancellation of the holiday special comes just hours after news broke that Nick was being sued for sexual battery. He is being accused of raping a 17-year-old back in 2021 when the Backstreet Boys were on tour.
