Beyonce is honoring a fellow pop icon on her new tour.
The 41-year-old superstar has worked a tribute to fellow iconic artist Britney Spears into the setlist for her Renaissance Tour.
She officially kicked off her world tour on Wednesday (May 10) in Stockholm, Sweden. The setlist for her tour featured hits spanning her rich, length career in the industry. Aside from that, she also included a surprise Mary J. Blige cover —- and a brief sample of Britney’s “Toxic.”
During the intro to her song “Thique” from renaissance, fans in the audience as well as those following along online heard the signature strings from Britney’s mega hit track.
The sweet tribute had fans of both Beyonce and Britney celebrating and heralding the two Queen Bs of music.
