The first Monday in May is coming ‘round again soon — and we now know who will be co-chairing at this year’s Met Gala!
On Thursday (March 17), the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City revealed the names of the celebrities who will co-chair The Costume Institute’s annual spring gala.
The Met Gala 2022, which is set to take place on May 2, will have these four stars as celebrity co-chairs: Celebrity husband and wife Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively, Oscar winner Regina King, and composer, director, and actor Lin-Manuel Miranda.
Lin-Manuel was originally slated to be a celebrity co-chair at the 2020 Gala before it was cancelled because of the pandemic.
Among the Met Gala 2022’s other co-chairs are designer Tom Ford, Instagram head Adam Mosseri, and Anna Wintour, Global Editorial Director of Vogue and Artistic Director of Conde Nast.
The Spring gala’s theme will be Part Two: In America: An Anthology Of Fashion.
