Ever since it was announced that Britney Spears said YES to longtime love Sam Asghari and the two were getting married, fans have been wondering if there would be a prenup.
Now, just days after Britney and Sam exchanged “I Dos” it’s been revealed that the newlyweds did indeed sign a prenup.
Reports have it that there is an “ironclad prenup” and that Sam “doesn’t get a dollar from the fortune Brit’s made up to this point.”
Britney is said to be worth $60 million. That entire fortune will remain with her if she and Sam ever split. It’s not clear at this time if he will get any of her future earnings.
People reported of the prenup:
“[Sam] will not receive any of Spears’ multi-million dollar fortune earned before the wedding date in the event that they split in the future.”
After they got engaged last year, Sam jokingly said he was the one who wanted to have a prenup:
“Thank you everyone who is concerned about the prenup! Of course we’re getting [an] iron clad prenup to protect my Jeep and shoe collection in case she dumps me one day.”
