Cara Delevingne is adding another title to her already impressive résumé.

After building successful careers in fashion and film, the model, actress, and creative multi-hyphenate is officially stepping into the music world. The 33-year-old star has signed with Warner Records and marked the beginning of her recording career with the release of two new songs, “I Forgot” and “Out of My Head.”

The move represents a significant new chapter for Delevingne, who has spent more than a decade establishing herself as one of entertainment’s most recognizable faces. From dominating international runways to starring in major film projects, she has repeatedly reinvented herself throughout her career. Now, she’s turning her attention to music—a dream she says has been years in the making.

“Music was always that dream I had, but never believed I would get the opportunity to create. Writing ‘I Forgot’ felt like a rebirth for me and ‘Out of my Head’ was like going to therapy. Everything has felt like it’s led up to this point and I can’t wait for everyone to experience it,” Cara said in a statement.

The release arrives alongside a visually ambitious companion project. To accompany the songs, Delevingne unveiled a seven-minute short film directed by Emmy Award-winning filmmaker Jessica Lee Gagné. The cinematic visual serves as an introduction to this new artistic era and offers fans a deeper look at the themes explored throughout the music.

Although this is technically Cara’s official recording debut, music has long played a role in her creative journey.

Fans may remember that she previously wrote a song for her 2017 sci-fi film Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets. More recently, she demonstrated her musical abilities on stage during her acclaimed run in the West End production of Cabaret, earning praise for her performance and vocal work.

The two newly released tracks showcase a deeply personal side of the performer. Based on her own description, “I Forgot” explores themes of renewal and self-discovery, while “Out of My Head” reflects emotional introspection and healing.

Fans won’t have to wait long to hear the songs live.

Cara is launching a mini-tour that will take her across Europe and North America in the coming weeks. Several performances have already sold out, signaling strong interest in her music debut.
