Chappell Roan is continuing her landmark rise in music by turning her platform into a powerhouse for community change. The 28-year-old “Pink Pony Club” phenomenon announced an ambitious two-day fundraising event titled “The Super Graphic Spectacular,” scheduled to take over The Shrine in Los Angeles on October 21 and 22.
Organized through her non-profit organization, The Midwest Princess Project, the fundraiser aims to deliver critical resources, funding, and support directly to trans youth and broader LGBTQ+ communities.
Promising a weekend packed with creative energy, the Grammy winner teased that the event will be:
“filled with drag, dance, guests, surprises, and funnnn.”
Described as a fully immersive live experience, the “Spectacular” marks the first full year of impact for The Midwest Princess Project. Each evening will feature a dynamic lineup including live musical performances, guest appearances, drag artistry, and stand-up comedy, while offering hands-on volunteer opportunities for attendees looking to get involved locally.
Every single dollar raised across the two-day event will directly fund the organization’s ongoing initiatives, which focus on fostering care, building genuine community connection, and expanding vital resource access. The non-profit has already raised over $800,000 to date through direct donations and proceeds generated from Roan’s “Visions of Damsels & Other Dangerous Things” pop-up concert series.
To keep the process fair and accessible, ticket sales are utilizing a fan-first approach via Fair AXS to prevent scalping. Following a pre-registration period that ran from August 7 through August 11, verified fans will be able to purchase tickets as access opens in controlled waves from August 18 through August 20.
