Debby Ryan is going to be a mom! The 32-year-old actress, best known for her role in Jessie, is expecting her first child with husband Josh Dun, drummer of Grammy-winning duo Twenty One Pilots.
The couple shared their happy news on Instagram Sunday night (Sept. 7), with Debby posting photos that showed off her growing baby bump, plus a sweet shot of Josh’s hand resting on her belly. She captioned it simply: “dun&dun + one.”
Alongside the baby bump reveal, Debby also included a sonogram photo, giving fans a first glimpse at their little one. Naturally, friends, fans, and fellow celebs flooded the comments with excitement and congratulations.
Debby and Josh’s love story has been a fan favorite for years. The two started dating in 2013, before tying the knot in an intimate New Year’s Eve ceremony on December 31, 2019. Now living in Columbus, Ohio, they’ve settled into a quieter life outside the spotlight while still pursuing their careers.
For those unfamiliar, Josh, 37, is one half of Twenty One Pilots, the chart-topping group behind hits like “Stressed Out” and “Ride.” The band has been nominated for six Grammys, winning once for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance.
Debby, meanwhile, has continued to expand her acting career after her Disney Channel days. Following her role as Jessie Prescott, she took on more dramatic projects, including Netflix’s Insatiable and films such as Night Teeth and Horse Girl. She’ll next appear in Famous alongside Zac Efron.
The news of their pregnancy marks a new chapter for the couple. Fans who grew up watching Debby on Disney and blasting Twenty One Pilots tracks in their teens are especially thrilled to see the two starting a family.
