Supermodel Irina Shayk and NBA guard Devin Booker are officially spending time together, stepping out as pop culture’s newest cross-industry couple.
According to PEOPLE, the 40-year-old runway icon and the 29-year-old Phoenix Suns star recently began dating following an introduction by mutual friends.
“It’s very new, but they like each other a lot,” an insider disclosed to PEOPLE. “Expect to see Irina at some of his games. She is very into him.”
The source noted that the pair are actively maximizing their shared summer downtime before Booker returns to intensive pre-season training with the Suns. Speculation flared over the weekend after pop-culture outlet Deuxmoi published photos of Booker outside Tutto Caffé in East Hampton, New York, accompanied by multiple eyewitness reports placing Shayk and Booker together across the Hamptons.
Both Shayk and Booker are no strangers to high-profile relationships. Shayk was in a four-year relationship with actor-director Bradley Cooper from 2015 to 2019; the pair continue to co-parent their 9-year-old daughter, Lea. Following her split from Cooper, Shayk was briefly linked to Kanye West in 2021, and later dated retired NFL legend Tom Brady in 2023. After briefly reconnecting last year, Shayk and Brady ultimately went their separate ways.
Booker, meanwhile, dated reality star Kendall Jenner on and off between 2020 and 2022. The former couple briefly drew internet attention in January following a candid exchange on social media. Shortly after, during a February press conference following Super Bowl 2026, Booker was asked if he watched the halftime show headlined by Bad Bunny—who previously dated Jenner.
Booker offered a direct response, stating he had not watched the performance and was simply being “completely honest.” When the reporter framed the question on behalf of “fans in Puerto Rico,” Booker set the record straight regarding his heritage:
“I’m Mexican,” the NBA star clarified.
Meanwhile, Jenner has moved on as well. The model is currently dating Euphoria actor Jacob Elordi, 29. A source close to the family recently told Page Six that Elordi represents “the first guy she has been crazy about in years,” adding that Jenner is intentionally working to protect the actor from the overwhelming media scrutiny that accompanies her family’s fame.
