The brief reconciliation between Chase Stokes and Kelsea Ballerini appears to have fizzled, leaving fans guessing about the state of the Outer Banks actor and “Half My Hometown” singer’s relationship.
The couple, who dated for nearly three years, reportedly split in September. In October, they sparked rumors of getting back together after being spotted holding hands in Croatia. But recent social media activity suggests that the reconciliation might have ended before it fully began.
On Thursday, Nov. 20, Chase Stokes posted a message on Instagram implying that Kelsea Ballerini had blocked him. “Don’t believe the media,” he wrote. “I’m blocked, I did nothing wrong.” He added, “Sorry. I tried,” along with a red heart emoji.
In a follow-up message to fans, he explained, “I’m sorry for those who believed in us. It is what it is. Onwards and upwards.”
The news comes shortly after Stokes reportedly clashed with fans in the comment section of a TikTok video shared by Ballerini. His latest posts indicate that he is attempting to move forward, though the drama continues to play out online.
