Dove Cameron and Damiano David have officially tied the knot.
The 30-year-old “Boyfriend” singer and the 27-year-old frontman for Italian rock group Måneskin exchanged vows on September 24 during a romantic ceremony at the historic Town Hall in Montalcino, nestled in the heart of Tuscany, Italy.
For their nuptials, the newlyweds coordinated in tailored ivory suiting. Cameron wore a custom suit cinched sharply at the waist, complete with a crisp white tie and a dramatic floor-length cape. David paired his ivory ensemble with an elegant silk scarf draped around his neck.
The couple’s public romance first sparked interest in September 2023, when Cameron was spotted attending a Måneskin concert. By January 2024, paparazzi snapped the pair leaving a dinner date in Los Angeles, setting off months of intense fan interest. They made their official red carpet debut weeks later at Clive Davis’ annual Pre-Grammy Gala, before Cameron made things Instagram official on February 4, 2024, sharing a candid photo of David carrying her high heels down a street. David commented on the post using red heel and kiss emojis.
Speaking with Cosmopolitan in June 2024, Cameron opened up about David’s gentle personality behind his rockstar stage persona, describing him as an “angel, teddy bear.”
“He’s the best person I’ve met in my life,” she told the outlet. “You spend two minutes around him, and you realize he is the kindest, most generous, most innocent, most giving person. He’s just a beautiful, sensitive soul.”
In January 2026, Cameron announced their engagement via Instagram, showing off a custom-designed ring alongside the caption, “my favourite part of being alive 💍 happy new year.”
During a subsequent appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, Cameron revealed that David personally helped design the ring before detailing his low-key, intimate proposal at home while they were packing for an upcoming trip.
“Clothing is everywhere, I’m in a big T-shirt, no makeup, hair still kind of wet from the shower, and I’m running around like a little creature in our house,” she recalled. Despite feeling like “the worst version” of herself in the chaos of packing, she noticed David staring at her intently. “I was so prepared until literally right now, and so I ran into the other room panicking, thinking, ‘Should I do my nails?’ Like, what do I do? I gotta be ready,” she joked. “I forgot how to function for a minute — my brain broke in half.”
When she walked back into the living room, David explained why he chose a private setting over a public spectacle.
“He had something in his hand and he said, ‘I know that some girls want rose petals. I know maybe you were expecting something big, but our life is so big, and it’s full of so many public highs that there’s no romance in that for us anymore,’ ” Cameron shared. “And so I wanted to do this here, in our home, because I want dishes, I want laundry, I want making food together, I want you in your big T-shirt. This is the life that I choose, and I hope you chose the same. Will you marry me?”
Though they went public with the news in January, Vogue reported that the private engagement actually took place in October 2025.
Earlier this year, while promoting her psychological thriller series 56 Days in Los Angeles, the Descendants alum reflected on how comforting it was to return home to David after long shoot days. “My partner and I, we were only together for eight months when we started shooting, so it was definitely a beautiful thing to come home to every night,” she shared.
