Grammy-nominated singer-songwriter Elle King has officially tied the knot with her partner of seven years, tattoo artist Dan Tooker.
The 37-year-old “Ex’s & Oh’s” artist revealed the happy news on Sunday, October 4, confirming that the couple exchanged vows during a secluded forest ceremony the day prior. Sharing a carousel of wedding portraits on Instagram, King summed up the celebration simply: “Husband and wife. Best day of my life.”
The couple subsequently reshared guest videos and photographs across their Instagram Stories, offering fans an inside look at the woodland setting where close friends and family gathered to celebrate their union.
King and Tooker’s romance traces back to 2019, when the singer walked into Tooker’s tattoo parlor for new ink, resulting in an immediate personal spark.
Reflecting on their initial meeting, King previously recalled the instant chemistry: “There was this electric thing that I’ve never felt before,” she shared. “We hung out, laughed, then he tattooed me, and I posted a picture and said, ‘Getting tattooed by my next ex-husband.’ We’ve been in love ever since.”
The pair got engaged in October 2020 and welcomed their first child together, son Lucky Levi Tooker, in September 2021. Their family expanded once again in February 2025 with the arrival of their second son, Royal.
While their journey included a temporary hiatus in April 2023, King confirmed their reconciliation in September 2024, noting that taking time apart allowed them space “to grow” before committing fully to their shared future. Now, with two young sons and a bustling household, the couple’s forest wedding marks the ultimate culmination of a seven-year love story built on mutual resilience.
