Big news for Finn Wolfhard fans!
It was announced on Tuesday (July 12) that the Stranger Things star is set to co-direct the upcoming film, Hell of a Summer. He also co-wrote the movie.
This marks Finn’s directorial debut, and he will work alongside Billy Bryk. The two will also star in the film alongside Fred Hechinger.
In a statement, Finn shared:
“I am so excited to be co-directing my first feature film.
I get the change to work with an incredible cast and crew, and to work with a company like 30West and Aggregate is a real dream.”
The film will be financed and executive produced by 30West. Fred and Jason Bateman will also be producing.
Production will start this month in Ontario, Canada.
