The 29-year-old music mastermind and the 30-year-old lifestyle icon chose the lush, sun-dappled Santa Barbara enclave for their nuptials. Adding a deeply emotional family touch to the proceedings, Finneas’s younger sister, 24-year-old pop icon Billie Eilish, stepped up to serve as the official wedding officiant. “We were putting it on, and I was saying, there’s something about this dress that just demands a moment of silence,” Claudia told Vogue while speaking about her head-turning main ceremony gown. She explained that while diving deep into the atelier’s archives, she immediately gravitated toward grand, romantic, “princess-like” silhouettes that commanded the room.
The fitting process even featured a surprise virtual appearance from Eilish herself via FaceTime. Upon seeing the finished custom gown, the “you should see me in a crown” singer couldn’t hide her awe: “My God, I can’t believe it. You look like an angel. Sorry to be interrupting. Love you so much!”
