Harry Styles will be giving back and making a stand in a big way.
The 28-year-old performer announced that he will be pledging $1 million to the Everytown for Gun Safety Support Fund, which is the education, research and litigation arm of Everytown for Gun Safety. Everytown for Gun safety is the biggest gun violence prevention organization in the United States.
Harry shared that he is teaming up with Live Nation to donate proceeds from his upcoming Love On Tour to gun safety. His announcement comes in the wake of the tragic, heartbreaking school shooting that took place at the Robb Elementary School in Uvalde, Texas this week.
In a statement, Harry passionately said:
“Along with all of you, I have been absolutely devastated by the recent string of mass shootings in America, culminating at Robb Elementary School in Texas.
On our North American tour, we will be partnering with Everytown who work to end gun violence, donating to support their efforts, and sharing their suggested action items.”
