Lizzo’s got something to say about Liam Payne.
The performer took to social media to seemingly call out the former One Direction member over comments he made in a recent interview.
Liam appeared on a podcast, where he candidly spoke about his time in One Direction. He claimed that he was the inspiration behind Simon Cowell’s decision to create One Direction after the boys individually auditioned for The X Factor in 2010. Liam declared:
“[Cowell] kind of started with my face and worked out around the rest.”
He also said that Simon previously made him a “promise.”
After Liam’s comments went viral, Lizzo went on TikTok to seemingly throw shade at him for what he said. She stated:
“I don’t know who lied to that poor boy, but we all know he was not the front man.”
Ooooooh.
