Jennifer Lawrence is opening up about some of her regrets in her career.
The 32-year-old superstar candidly spoke about her past projects in a new interview with the New York Times. She revealed that doing one particular movie was not the right move for her — and that her good friend Adele actually told her not to do it!
Jennifer said that she felt that the 2016 space drama Passengers, in which she starred opposite Chris Pratt, was something she should not have done. She spoke about disappointing her fans with the role:
“I was like, ‘Oh no, you guys are here because I’m here, and I’m here because you’re here. Wait, who decided this was a good movie?”
The actress recounted that Adele had spoken against Jen taking on the role:
“Adele told me not to do it! She was like, ‘I feel like space movies are the new vampire movies.’
I should have listened to her.”
