Joe Manganiello has made a move to make his separation from Sofia Vergara permanent – and legal.
The 46-year-old Magic Mike actor has reportedly filed for divorce from the 51-year-old Modern Family star. His filing comes just a few days after the couple announced their split.
Outlets report that Joe was the one to file paperwork, which he did in the Los Angeles County Superior Court on Wednesday (July 19).
Documents show that Joe declared their date of separation as July 2. He cited “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for their split.
The paperwork likewise shows that the pair have a prenuptial agreement in place. Joe requested the “court to confirm each of their separate property” including jewelry and earnings as their own. He also asked that they each pay for their legal fees.
