Johnny Depp is blasting fake accounts posing as him.
The 59-year-old actor took to social media to warn his fans about fake social media accounts who have been pretending to be him and those he works with.
On his Instagram Story, he wrote a post titled “PSA.” The post began:
“I’ve been made aware that there are fake accounts pretending to be me or people working with me.”
He listed his official social media accounts, stating that he does not have any other accounts:
“I do not have any private or side accounts on any platforms. These are the only pages run by me and my team where we share updates and communicate.”
Johnny went on to remind his fans to be careful:
“I ask that you remain cautious as it seems these fake accounts can be relentless. My team is working to combat the problem.
Thank you for your continued support and for making me aware of this issue.
Love & respect, JD X.”
