Jordin Sparks does not agree with the AMAs when it comes to Chris Brown.
After the ceremony took place earlier this month, Chris took to social media to reveal that he had been set to perform a tribute to Michael Jackson with Ciara at the award show. He stated that his performance was canceled at the last minute.
Jordin was asked by TMZ about Chris’ performance getting canceled. She responded that he “should’ve been there” and voiced her displeasure at what AMA did to him.
She declared:
“You love asking me about Chris, but we love Chris. He should’ve been there.
Honestly, I think that shouldn’t even be a conversation anymore. It’s about his talent. They shouldn’t have canceled the performance. That’s how I feel about it.”
Jordin doubled down, saying that Chris deserves a second chance:
“People deserve to be able to grow, and learn and be able to live their life without things hanging over them. Everybody deserves that. Him especially.”
