Julia Garner has been offered the role of a lifetime.
It’s being reported the actress has been offered the role of Madonna in the pop icon’s forthcoming biopic amidst Madonna’s rigorous and extensive audition process.
The Inventing Anna star has reportedly copped the role that has been one of the most coveted in recent years. Variety states:
“Garner has emerged the favorite from over a dozen candidates, one insider added, and has for months been speculated as a frontrunner for the part – a performance Madonna will shepherd herself as director.”
Julia’s team is now said to be considering the offer. They are expected to accept.
The biopic will follow Madonna’s early days. Production timeline and casting is still unknown as of this time.
The production has made headlines in the past weeks because of its audition process. Many big names reportedly tried out for the role, such as Florence Pugh, Alexa Demie, Odessa Young, Emma Laird, Bebe Rexha, and Sky Ferreira.
