Kate Moss is shutting down a big rumor about her and Johnny Depp.
The supermodel took to the stand in Johnny’s trial against his ex wife Amber Heard. Kate and Johnny were in a relationship from 1994 to 1998.
Johnny’s lawyers called Kate to the stand after Amber referenced a rumor that she once heard about Johnny and Kate’s relationship. During the testimony of Amber, she stated that she once heard a rumor about how Johnny threw Kate down the stairs — and Amber feared Johnny would do the same to her sister Whitney during an argument once.
While taking the stand, Kate was asked about the rumor. She recounted that once, she and Johnny had vacationed in Jamaica, going on to say:
“As I left the room, I slid down the stairs and I hurt my back.
I screamed because I was in pain.”
Kate stated that Johnny came to help her, carrying her to safety. She then staunchly declared:
“He never pushed me, kicked me, or threw me down any kind of stairs.”
