Kristin Davis is setting the record straight — and saying sorry — to Sex and the City guest star Bridget Moynahan, decades later.
The 60-year-old actress recently welcomed the Blue Bloods star onto her podcast, Are You a Charlotte?, and got candid about something that’s been on her mind since the early 2000s.
“I don’t think I was that nice to you. I feel really bad about that, Bridget,” Kristin admitted during their chat.
Bridget, who famously played Mr. Big’s ex-wife Natasha, brushed it off with grace and good humor. “Don’t worry,” she assured her, laughing.
Kristin explained that her behavior might’ve been a little too influenced by her character at the time. “I might have internalized Charlotte’s worldview,” she said, noting that normally she tries “to proactively be friendly” with guest stars — especially since being a guest can be nerve-wracking.
The two actresses have long since made peace.
Reflecting on the experience, Kristin said she felt “so silly” that Charlotte’s perspective had seeped into her own thoughts. But in hindsight, it’s easy to see how actors can blur the line between character and self — especially when living in such an iconic world.
Today, Kristin and Bridget have built a real friendship off-screen, a sweet full-circle moment for fans who remember their on-screen tension. Sometimes, even decades later, it’s never too late to make things right — Charlotte York would definitely approve.
