Lindsay Lohan is heading back to the screen in a big way. The Freakier Friday star will co-lead Hulu’s upcoming limited series Count My Lies alongside Shailene Woodley.

Based on Sophie Stava’s novel of the same name, the project has officially been given a series order, Variety confirms.

Both Lindsay and Shailene will star and serve as executive producers, working with This Is Us showrunners Isaac Aptaker and Elizabeth Berger.

The series follows Sloane Caraway (Woodley), a compulsive liar who talks her way into a nanny job for the glamorous Violet (Lohan) and her husband, Jay Lockhart. But Sloane quickly discovers the household is full of dangerous secrets — and the truth could have catastrophic consequences for everyone.

For Lindsay, Count My Lies marks her first leading television role, signaling a new chapter in her career. She was last seen in theaters opposite Jamie Lee Curtis in Freakier Friday, the sequel to her beloved 2003 hit Freaky Friday.

Between the star power, intriguing premise, and Hulu’s track record with buzzy limited series, Count My Lies is already one to watch.
