Adam Brody and Leighton Meester are among Hollywood’s most adored couples — and the real life married couple is lighting up the screen together once more!
The longtime couple are starring in the upcoming adventure thriller River Wild. The first trailer for the film is out now.
In River Wild, Leighton plays Joey, who fears there may be trouble ahead after her brother Gray (Taran Killam) invites Adam Brody’s Trevor on their whitewater rafting adventure with tourists. They become stranded in raging rapids, and the trip takes a terrifying turn as they are all trapped in a desperate fight for their lives.
Leighton and Adam previously starred together in The Oranges (2011) and Life Partners (2014).
They both also played fan favorite characters on TV in the 00s, Adam as Seth Cohen on The OC and Leighton as Blair Waldorf on Gossip Girl. Both shows were helmed by Josh Schwartz.
