Martha Stewart is addressing a very unexpected rumor head on about her and Pete Davidson.
After Pete split from Kim Kardashian, some Twitter users randomly began to spin the idea that the 28-year-old SNL alum may have started up a romance with the 81-year-old businesswoman and TV personality.
Now, in a new interview with The Daily Mail, Martha is shutting down the rumors, definitively declaring:
“Pete Davidson is like the son I never had.”
She went on to say some very sweet things about him too:
“He is a charming boy who is finding his way.
I’ve invite him to come on my podcast and I look forward to hearing what he has to say.”
This social media rumor seemed to have stemmed from a photo capturing Martha sweetly holding Pete’s hand back in April as she posed for a photo with him and Kim at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner. This photo began to re-circulate, thus sparking the rumors.
