Nathan Sykes is officially stepping into fatherhood.
The 33-year-old singer-songwriter, best known as a member of the chart-topping British boyband The Wanted, announced on Wednesday, September 23, that he and his wife, Charlotte, are expecting their first child together.
The couple broke the joyful news via a joint Instagram post featuring a cute photo booth reel and sonogram imagery.
“We’ve been keeping a little secret…” the couple captioned the post. “Baby Sykes is officially on the way.”
The accompanying video clip captured intimate, playful moments between the parents-to-be as they posed with their baby’s first ultrasound photos, shared kisses, made funny faces for the camera, and gave fans a first look at Charlotte’s growing baby bump. According to the announcement, the new addition is expected to arrive in April 2027.
The baby news marks the next happy chapter in the couple’s long-standing romance. Sykes and Charlotte first announced their engagement in December 2022 following more than four years of dating, with Sykes proposing during a romantic getaway in Saint Lucia.
The couple officially tied the knot in October 2025 during an elegant ceremony held at the historic Birdsall House country estate in Yorkshire, England, surrounded by family, close friends, and music industry peers.
