The 14-city tour, originally announced in June, was slated to kick off on August 5 in Dallas, Texas. The ambitious schedule would have kept the duo on the road through late August, hitting major entertainment hubs including New York, Los Angeles, Houston, Atlanta, and Toronto.

While West teased an upcoming surprise to soften the blow, her co-headliner Molly Santana took a deeply heartfelt tone in addressing fans who had already secured their tickets, expressing profound gratitude and remorse over the tour’s collapse.
“To everyone who bought tickets to the tour, I sincerely apologize,” Santana wrote to her followers. “I know a lot of you have taken time out of your busy schedules and spent your hard-earned money planning to be there. Nothing makes me more happy than the opportunity to share more amazing memories with you all, and I hope to see you soon. The KimoKawaii Tour was poised to mark a major milestone for West, who released her debut EP, N0rth4evr, to widespread curiosity and critical intrigue in May. Despite her youth and lack of extensive stage experience, critics quickly noted that her musical direction bypassed standard pop tropes in favor of an edgy, alternative sonic identity.
