Over the past 48 hours, the internet has been buzzing with speculation that Jennifer Aniston and Pedro Pascal might be Hollywood’s newest power couple.
It all started after the Friends star and The Last of Us actor were spotted having a three-hour dinner together over the weekend. Naturally, fans—and tabloids—jumped to conclusions.
Pedro, however, was quick to shut it down. When asked about the rumors by E! News, he said, “We’re friends and we went to dinner with mutual friends. It happens.”
That lines up with what sources close to the duo have also been saying—it was nothing more than a friendly night out.
Pedro, meanwhile, is deep in promo mode for The Last of Us Season 2, which is set to premiere on HBO and Max on April 13. The highly anticipated seven-episode season will air weekly through May 25.
So, while fans may have to let go of the Aniston-Pascal romance dream (for now), they can at least look forward to seeing Pedro back in action on screen.
