Pete Davidson is officially entering a new chapter in his life: fatherhood. The comedian and SNL alum confirmed that his girlfriend, model Elsie Hewitt, is pregnant with their first child.
Speaking at the New York City premiere of The Home, Pete, 31, shared his joy with E! News: “I’m very lucky and very, very happy.”
He added, “Being able to take care of something and show it the childhood I didn’t have… I assume you just try to give them what you didn’t have, and what you didn’t like, not do it.”
Pete is looking forward to learning from his circle of fellow dads, including longtime friends Adam Sandler and Colin Jost. “Everybody’s just been super excited for me, because they know it’s been my dream,” he said. “They all just have been like, ‘You’re going to be great at this. It’s the best thing you’ll ever do in your life.’ Sandler gave me some great advice.”
Pete and Elsie, 29, first sparked dating rumors in March 2025 while vacationing in Florida. Their romance quickly gained momentum, and they made their red carpet debut in May at the Endometriosis Foundation of America’s 2025 Blossom Ball.
With a baby on the way, Pete’s well-known vulnerability and heart-on-his-sleeve charm are sure to make him an incredibly dedicated dad. As he continues to grow in both his personal and professional life, it’s clear that the best is yet to come.
