Ricky Martin and Jean Yosef are going their separate ways.
The 51-year-old entertainer and 38-year-old artist have decided to end their marriage after six years. They made the announcement in a statement to People, sharing:
“We have decided to end our marriage with love, respect and dignity for our children and honoring what we have experienced as a couple all these wonderful years.”
They added:
“Our greatest desire now is to continue having a healthy family dynamic and a relationship centered on peace and friendship to continue the joint upbringing of our children, preserving the respect and love we have for each other.”
Ricky and Jean met in 2016 and got engaged in 2016. They wed in 2018, and share daughter Lucia, born 2018, and son Renn, born 2019. Ricky welcomed twin boys Valentino and Matteo back in 2008.
