Rihanna is heading to the Super Bowl stage!
The 34-year-old Anti pop superstar is set to perform at the Super Bowl Halftime Show in 2023. She confirmed the news on Sunday (September 25) by posting a photo of herself holding a NFL football on Instagram.
Rihanna will officially be hitting the stage during the halftime show on Sunday, February 12, at the Super Bowl LVII which will be held at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona.
This news comes after earlier reports came out that Rihanna would be performing at the event, as well as news of Taylor Swift reportedly turning down the offer for a good reason.
Earlier this year, Eminem, Dr. Dre, 50 Cent, Mary J. Blige, Snoop Dogg, and Kendrick Lamar performed at the 2022 Super Bowl halftime show.
Super Bowl halftime show 2023 will mark the first Super Bowl halftime show sponsored by Apple Music rather than longtime sponsor Pepsi.
Rihanna turned down the offer to headline the event in 2020.
