Selena Gomez is responding to fans saying she was making fun of Hailey Bieber.
It all began when Hailey posted a skincare routine on TikTok. Shortly afterwards, Selena also took to TikTok to post her own getting ready TikTok video.
Some fans reacted to Selena’s video, accusing Selena of mocking the wife of her ex-boyfriend Justin Bieber. They came to the conclusion that since Hailey regularly posts skincare videos on TikTok, that means Selena’s video was an attempt to mock Hailey’s posts.
There was no mention of Hailey or anyone else in Selena’s video.
Selena, who seemed very confused by all the commotion, disabled the comments section on her video. She also publicly apologized in a TikTok comment for what fans believed was a slight against Hailey.
According to a fan account who took a screenshot, Selena posted this:
This is why I believe in taking care of your mental health.
Guys no idea what I did but I really am sorry. Zero bad intention. Deleting soon.”
