It appears that Shia LaBeouf and Mia Goth have quietly gone their separate ways.
According to a new report from Page Six, the 39-year-old actor and the 32-year-old actress separated sometime within the past year. Neither has publicly addressed the split, but sources indicate that LaBeouf has relocated to the New Orleans area, reportedly to be closer to family.
The news arrives amid renewed headlines surrounding LaBeouf following his arrest in New Orleans during Mardi Gras celebrations on Tuesday morning (February 17).
The New Orleans Police Department released a statement detailing the incident. As shared with E! News, authorities said:
“A man identified as 39-year-old Shia LaBeouf was reportedly causing a disturbance and becoming increasingly aggressive at a Royal Street business. A staff member attempted to eject Mr. LaBeouf from the establishment. Once removed from the building, the victim reported being struck by LaBeouf who used his closed fists on the victim several times.”
Police further alleged that LaBeouf left the area but returned shortly after, escalating the situation.
“Multiple people attempted to hold him down—he was eventually let up in hopes that he would leave—but he reportedly again struck the same victim with closed fists to the victim’s upper body. LaBeouf then reportedly assaulted another person—punching him in the nose.”
He was reportedly provided with “treatment of unknown injuries.”
Shortly after news of the arrest surfaced, LaBeouf took to his Twitter/X account at 5:30 a.m. ET and posted a brief two-word message: “Free me.”
TMZ later reported that LaBeouf had been released. The outlet also published video footage allegedly showing him returning to Mardi Gras festivities later that day.
The timing of the arrest and separation report has inevitably placed renewed attention on LaBeouf’s personal life. He and Goth, who first met while filming Nymphomaniac, married in 2016 in a Las Vegas ceremony. Their relationship has seen periods of separation and reconciliation over the years. In 2022, the couple welcomed their first child, a daughter named Isabel.
The last public photos of the pair together date back to January 2025.
Neither LaBeouf nor Goth has issued an official statement regarding the reported separation. As of now, details remain limited, and representatives for both actors have not publicly commented.
