Troye Sivan is back!
The 28-year-old “Bloom” pop star kicked off his new era on Thursday (July 17) with the unveiling of his euphoric new track “Rush” and the song’s steamy, sweat-soaked music video.
He explained of the his new release:
“‘Rush’ is the feeling of kissing a sweaty stranger on a dancefloor, a 2 hour date that turned into a weekend, a crush, a winter, a summer. Party after party, after party after after party.
All of my experiences from a chapter where I feel confident, free and liberated. Independent, yet somehow the most connected to the music and community around me.”
Troye had even more good news for his fans — he’s releasing a new album soon called Something To Give Each Other! He wrote on Instagram:
“This album is my something to give you. Heartbreak, freedom. Community, sisterhood, friendship. All that. <3”
Something To Give Each Other drops October 13. This will be his first new album since 2018’s Bloom.
