A lot has changed for Paris Hilton over the past two years – particularly in her personal life. And it appears to have impacted her goals for the future.
In her documentary This Is Paris, which was shot two years ago, Paris got candid about her billionaire goals, saying she won’t stop until she makes one billion dollars.
“It was such a goal of mine before because I wasn’t happy in my personal life,” Paris explained on Tuesday’s (June 22) episode of the Just for Variety podcast. “And also just going through what I went through, I always saw money as freedom and independence, and not being controlled. And I think that’s why I just had that as my focus in life.”
However, the heiress revealed she’s “more interested” in pursuing something else now.
“And now that I am so incredibly happy and in love in my personal life I’m not really interested in billions anymore. I’m more interested in babies,” she continued.
Paris and Carter Reum got engaged earlier this year – he popped the question during a trip with her family for her 40th birthday. Their upcoming nuptials will be featured in her upcoming show, Paris In Love, on Peacock. “It’s not reality television,” Paris says of project. “It’s a docuseries.”
Earlier this week, Paris gushed about her fiancé at the Tribeca Festival, where they walked the red carpet together.
“I’ve never been with someone who loves and supports me so much, and lifts me up, and isn’t intimidated,” she told Entertainment Tonight. “[He] is just my best friend and my prince charming all rolled into one.”
She also hinted at some details about her wedding – like the ceremony being “something magical and fun,” and that her pet Chihuahua, Diamond Baby, will be involved.
“You know, I’m not your traditional bride,” she told the outlet.
As for other preparations for her big day, it appears things are well underway – and some have already been filmed.
“We just started shooting our new show, Paris in Love, on Peacock and we’re shooting in New York just now, actually, and getting ready for the dress fitting and just planning the bachelorette party. There’s a lot,” Paris explained. “So I’m really excited to share that with all my fans.”
