Paul Rudd and Anthony Mackie hit up Disneyland Resort on Wednesday (June 2) for the opening of the Avengers Campus in Disney California Adventure park – and fans were totally gushing about Paul’s style statement at the event.

Sharing his excitement about the opening, he addressed both the socially distanced crowd and the livestream viewers at home, saying, “Hi! Wow, this is great. It’s so great to see everybody, it’s phenomenal to be here in person. I loved being in Hong Kong in 2019 to open the Ant-Man and The Wasp: Nano Battle, but this is a whole new ball of wax.”

“This is a campus,” he continued. “This is an entire campus. The Avengers Campus.”

The Ant-Man star rocked a pastel pink suit to the opening, which sent fans into a frenzy on Twitter.

“When Paul Rudd is trending it is a must click, and then I am rewarded with Paul Rudd in a pink suit,” one fan tweeted.

“CAN WE JUST TAKE A MOMENT TO APPRECIATE PAUL RUDD IN A PINK SUIT,” another wrote.

“paul rudd looking amazing in a pink suit is something i didn’t know i needed until i saw him,” one person shared.

“Paul Rudd in pink is such a serve,” a fan chimed in.

“paul rudd in a pink suit is the reason i’m alive,” a Twitter-user shared.

“paul rudd in a pink suit is everything I’ve ever wanted and more,” another fan wrote.

“PAUL RUDD IN A PINK SUIT???? HE LOOKS ABSOLUTELY STUNNING,” yet another fan declared.

“PAUL RUDD IN A PINK SUIT. BREATHE IF YOU AGREE,” another Twitter-user wrote.

Paul has been making headlines a lot lately – but without meaning to. Last week, fans were buzzing about why he was missing from the Friends reunion special – he played Phoebe’s (Lisa Kudrow) husband Mike on the show.

Friends: The Reunion director, Ben Winston, talked to The Wrap about why some notable cast members did not appear on the special.

“Well, we couldn’t have everybody on, because it’s only an hour and 45 minutes,” told The Wrap. “And you’ve got to pay attention — the main nub of the show has got to be about the six cast members.”

Then, there’s the pandemic which also presented some logistical problems.

“You know, we did invite some people who weren’t able to make it,” he said. “It’s a complicated time to be making television now because, you know, some people couldn’t fly internationally, some people were on other TV or film shoots, some people are in bubbles on stuff.”

“The timing of it was incredibly difficult. So, you know, if you weren’t available on the seventh of April at 8 p.m., then, sadly, they weren’t able to be part of it,” Ben explained. “Yeah, we couldn’t get everybody in. It’s just one of those things. I hope people will think about all the great things that are in there rather than the things that aren’t.”
