Percy Hynes White is breaking his silence on his departure from “Wednesday” season two.

Fans were left in shock when the 22-year-old actor, known for his role as Xavier Thorpe in the Netflix hit series, was noticeably absent from the cast list for the upcoming season, currently in production in Ireland.

Percy’s exit from the show comes after he faced misconduct allegations last year, sparking rumors about his future with the series. At the time, he vehemently denied the allegations, attributing them to a campaign of misinformation against him.

Taking to his Instagram Stories on Tuesday (May 7), Percy addressed the news of his departure from season two. “I had so much fun working on this show. I can’t wait to watch season 2:) Much love,” he shared, accompanied by a heart emoji.

While his absence from “Wednesday” may come as a disappointment to fans, Percy is already gearing up for exciting new projects. He’s set to star alongside his “Wednesday” co-star Jenna Ortega in “Winter Spring Summer or Fall,” which is making its debut at the Tribeca Film Festival. Additionally, his film “My Old Ass,” which premiered at Sundance, is slated for release this fall. Most recently, he wrapped filming on the feature film “Whistle.”

Despite his departure from “Wednesday,” Percy’s career shows no signs of slowing down. With his talent and versatility, he continues to captivate audiences both on-screen and off. As he bids farewell to one chapter, fans eagerly anticipate what exciting roles he’ll take on next.
