Raven-Symoné is not one to sit quietly while her wife, Miranda Maday, faces unwarranted hate online. The 38-year-old former Disney star took to TikTok to address the recent wave of death threats and negativity directed at Miranda.

In the TikTok clip, Raven and Miranda sit side-by-side, their expressions serious as Raven delivers a firm message to online trolls. “I’m here with Miranda, my wife, to tell you to stop it in the comments and stop with the death threats in her DMs,” Raven asserts. “It is disrespectful to her and in turn disrespectful to me. Stop it.”

Miranda expresses how the recent backlash has escalated. She clarifies previous statements about her familiarity with Raven’s career, emphasizing that while she didn’t grow up watching That’s So Raven, she has since become acquainted with Raven’s extensive body of work. “I never have once said that I did not know who Raven was. I only have ever said that I did not grow up watching That’s So Raven,” Miranda explains. “But since getting married and meeting her in 2015, I have seen the majority of her work.”

Setting the record straight, Miranda praises Raven’s talent and acknowledges her contributions, expressing her admiration for Raven’s work on That’s So Raven. She expresses frustration at the misinformation fueling the hate she’s receiving, lamenting, “I’m receiving so much hate for something that is really just a spiral of misinformation.”

Raven chimes in with a final message for internet trolls, urging them to cease their harmful behavior. “For all the blue checks out there acting like trolls, sit down. Thank you, no need,” Raven asserts, drawing a line against cyberbullying.

The recent onslaught of hate stemmed from a joint appearance Raven and Miranda made on the Bottoms Up With Fannita podcast in April. During the interview, Miranda clarified her reasons for not initially watching That’s So Raven, citing her age at the time of the show’s debut in 2003. “I think I was a little too old,” Miranda admits. However, she explains how her perspective changed after revisiting the series, expressing newfound appreciation for the show’s charm.

In a previous interview with ET, Raven reflected on her groundbreaking role in That’s So Raven, highlighting the impact of the show on her career and legacy. “We had such a good time on that show,” Raven reminisced. “It’s in its own little time capsule. I can’t say anything bad about it.” Despite the love for her past work, Raven remains focused on supporting her wife and combating online negativity, standing firm against hate and misinformation.
