Sam Asghari, the 29-year-old fitness instructor, model and actor, isn’t staying silent about the rumors circulating regarding his job status in the wake of his separation from Britney Spears.
As you may have heard, Sam and Britney recently ended their marriage after just over a year as husband and wife, and Sam has filed for divorce.
Now, reports have been swirling, suggesting that Sam is currently without work while Britney gears up for the release of her memoir and is rumored to be returning to the recording studio.
But Sam decided it was time to set the record straight, and he did so in a rather cool and collected manner, chatting with a photographer at the SAG-AFTRA picket line. He didn’t outright deny that he’s between jobs; instead, he made a comparison that’s hard to ignore. More specifically, he compared himself to Leonardo DiCaprio!
He said:
”That’s the point of this strike. I have the same amount of jobs as Leonardo DiCaprio does.”
Sam also shared his perspective on the ongoing strike in Hollywood, saying, “I hope everything gets resolved very fast so that we can all go back to doing what we love doing the most, which is making art and inspiring people.”
Now, there was another recent report floating around, suggesting that Britney was footing the bill for Sam’s rent. But hey, let’s not forget that sometimes rumors have a way of spinning things out of proportion.
