Selena Gomez has a new man in her life.
The 31-year-old pop star has confirmed that she is in a relationship with the 35-year-old hitmaker. She made the confirmation through some comments in response to fans.
In one of several comments she wrote on a fan account, Selena declared of Benny:
“He is my absolute everything in my heart.”
When some hesitation was expressed by fans, Selena responded:
“Then why has he been the best thing that’s ever happened to me. The end.”
In another comment, Selena had yet another strong declaration of her feelings:
“He’s still better than anyone I’ve ever been with. Facts.”
Another fan seemed to have negative opinions about this, and Selena said in response:
“I don’t understand. If you actually care about me. This is my happiest. If you don’t feel free to say whatever you want. But I will never allow your words to guide my life. Ever.
I’m done. If you can’t accept me at my happiest then don’t be in [my] life at all.”
Selena also shared a photo of herself and Benny, calling him “absolutely everything.”
An insider opened up about their romance, saying:
“Selena and Benny have been casually seeing each other for a while and more recently, it became more official. Things have been going really well between them and Selena is happy. She thinks Benny is very funny and of course, extremely talented.
Selena is in a great place in her life and feels content and relaxed. She is enjoying where things are going.”
Benny is a music producer, He worked with Selena on her 2021 single “I Can’t Get Enough.” Many have noted his close friendship with Selena’s ex-boyfriend, Justin Bieber.
