Selena Gomez is speaking out amidst rampant rumors of a feud with Hailey Bieber.
The 30-year-old Only Murders In The Building actress took to social media on Friday morning (March 24) to reveal that the 26-year-old model and wife of Selena’s ex Justin Bieber has reached out to her about death threats that she has been getting because of their rumored rift.
Selena wrote on her Instagram Story:
“Hailey Bieber reached out to me and let me know that she has been receiving death threats and such hateful negativity.”
She made it clear that this was not something she wanted for either of them:
“This isn what I stand for. No one should have to experience hate or bullying.
I’ve always advocated for kindness and really want this all to stop.”
The perceived feud between the women was put into the spotlight once again what Hailey uploaded a video earlier this year that fans perceived as a diss to Selena as Selena was the subject of body shaming headlines. This drama seemingly escalated further when fans thought that Hailey and Kylie Jenner were mocking Selena’s eyebrows in yet another social media post.
