Over the weekend, Vanessa Hudgens revealed to fans that she’s dipped her toes back in the dating pool.
Posting a photo of herself all glammed up and holding a rose, she captioned it, “Date night 💖.”
At the time, Vanessa’s mystery date was totally that – a mystery. The Princess Switch star and Austin Butler broke up in January of this year after dating for nearly nine years. She was later linked to Lakers forward Kyle Kuzma, but it’s unclear if they were ever really a thing – he’s currently dating Winnie Harlow.
So, who is V dating? Recent photos published by the Daily Mail may have just revealed her mystery man’s identity.
V was snapped with her arms around Pittsburgh Pirates’ shortstop and outfielder Cole Tucker as they waited at the valet stand to get their car after having dinner at the Canyon Country Store in Los Angeles. They were also snapped holding hands during their evening out.
Just last week, V was saying that the ongoing pandemic has put a pause on her dating life – one way she tries to help keep everyone around her safe while working on her projects.
“I just finished another movie yesterday and, you know, it’s taken very seriously and to keep everyone safe there are precautions,” she told Entertainment Tonight. “And at times it feels extravagant, but it’s what you have to do to keep everyone on the production safe, so yeah, definitely no dating for me.”
She also shared what she’s looking for in a guy.
“Your girl’s open,” she says with a laugh. “I feel like at the end of the day, it’s just about having similar fundamentals and wanting the same things. Like, I am not picky, really. … Like, I know what I want and I’m like, if someone comes into the picture and can give me all those things, then great, it doesn’t matter if they’re in the public eye or not — if anything I prefer them not to be but we’ll see, we’ll see.”
