Talk about a double surprise! St. Vincent has just revealed that she’s not only married but also a mum.
The 42-year-old musician, whose real name is Annie Clark, dropped the bombshell during the pre-show at the 2025 Grammys, where she took home the award for Best Rock Song for “Broken Man.”
During her acceptance speech, St. Vincent made the heartfelt announcement, sharing a rare glimpse into her personal life.
“Thank you so much. I want to say, to every other nominee in this category, I love you all so much. It’s an honor just to be in the same world where you all exist again,” she said.
Then came the unexpected reveal: “Thank you to my beautiful wife Leah, our beautiful daughter… this record was obviously a labor of love. Making records is like building a house when you have no floor plans and you don’t know what wood or concrete is.”
Backstage, she playfully addressed the secrecy, telling reporters that she had kept her baby news “under wraps” but clarified, “The child is young, just to be clear, the child is young,” according to The Hollywood Reporter.
St. Vincent has always kept her personal life private, though she was previously linked to Cara Delevingne from 2014 to 2016 and briefly dated Kristen Stewart later that year.
Congratulations to Annie, Leah, and their little one!
